The Action Steel match is now held the 1st Saturday of every month.

Match set up is usually done starting at about 7:30am on the morning of the match. Help setting up is greatly appreciated and if you help set up, your match fee will be "comped".  Contact the Match Director (scottwhitew@hotmail.com) if you would like to help set up for the match.

Registration is "live" in-person the morning of the match, starting about 8:15am. We are also transitioning to Practiscore in 2022 for pre-registration. Results are posted on this site, usually a day or two after the match.

An ASL match will have 5-6 stages, each involving a steel target array, each with a round count of 18-28.  In general, round targets need one hit, rectangles need two. We may mix in knock-down steel, texas stars and plate racks as well. There are different divsions to accomodate most any center fire handgun/magazine   capacity/optic combo.  There are also 22 rimfire divisions for handguns or rifles. Pistol caliber carbines are also welcome. .22 rimfire and pistol caliber carbines should have chamber flags and be fully encased and or taken from a cart on the start position. Basically you can shoot anything except rifle caliber bullets.
