The goal of the BIT is to develope NRA Certified Instructors who possess the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude necessary to organize and conduct NRA Basic Firearm Training Courses. 
 
This training is course 1 of the 2 part course needed to obtain credentials as an NRA Certified Instructor. In order to take this course you must be signed up for one of our NRA Instructor Courses as well. 
 

If you have succesfully completed the NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) within the past 24 months you do not need to retake the course.
