CFRPC will be hosting the sanctioned sport of Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Rimfire Sporter. This is a quick, cheap, fun way to improve your marksmanship skills and compete (for bragging rights) in organized rifle competition. Any age from youths to seniors and everyone in between. Three positions: prone, sitting and standing. Bring any safe .22 caliber rimfire rifle with or without a sling, 100 rounds of proper ammunition for your rifle, eye protection, hearing protection, and a prone shooting mat or an old blanket. Targets will be provided by the club.
