Special Procedures for Orientation Sessions while COVID-19 precautions are in operation:

1. For now, Orientation Sessions will be held in the Pavilion.
2. Each Orientation Session will be limited to a TOTAL of twenty participants, including two staff.
3. You must first take and pass the online pre-test. See the Club web site at https://www.cfrpc.com/membership.html.
4. You must then send an email to chiefinstructor@cfrpc.com to reserve your place in an Orientation Session. Include a copy of your pre-test certificate and state the date you prefer and alternate dates you can make. (See the calendar for available dates.)
5. Reservations will be allocated first‑come‑first‑serve based on the date/time of your email requesting a reservation. We will send an email response notifying you of your reservation. You must bring a copy of that email to your session; you will not be admitted without it. No requests will be allocated after two days before the session.
6. If we receive requests for reservations beyond the twenty-person capacity of sessions already scheduled, we will attempt to schedule additional sessions based on the availability of staff.
7. All participants in the Orientation classroom sessions will be required to wear protective face covering and to exercise “social distancing”. Shooters may remove the face covering in order to shoot.

Please work with us through this period. We are trying to accommodate as many as we can under difficult circumstances. Thank you.

This is the "new" version of orientation which was introduced in October 2017.  You must pass an online pre-test before you may attend General Orientation.  

Current CFRPC members: see http://cfrpc.com/membership/currentmembers/pretest-current-menu.html for instructions and to access the pre-test.  YOU MUST BE LOGGED INTO THE CFRPC SITE AS A CFRPC MEMBER TO ACCESS THIS PAGE.

Prospective CFRPC members:

At the Monday night General meeting where you introduce yourself, you will be given a password to access the Orientation pre-test.  See http://cfrpc.com/membership/prospect-members/pretest-prospective-menu.html  to access the pretest.

YOU MUST ATTEND A GENERAL MEETING IN ORDER TO RECEIVE ACCESS TO THE PRE-TEST.

  YOU CANNOT ATTEND THIS NEW ORIENTATION WITHOUT FIRST PASSING THE WRITTEN EXAM!  This applies to new members and to current CFRPC members who are repeating orientation.

General Orientation - Bring the Following to Orientation:

a. Eye protection;

b. Hearing protection;

c. A suitable handgun for 25m range pistol qualification AND/OR a suitable rifle for 25m range rifle qualification; and

d. 10 rounds of ammunition to be fired for each desired qualification.
