LEATH ACTION RANGE ORIENTATION IS HELD AT THE PICNIC PAVILLION AT 6:00 PM ON THE MONDAYS WHEN THERE IS A GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING, WHICH IS USUALLY THE FIRST MONDAY OF EACH MONTH UNLESS THAT MONDAY IS A HOLIDAY, IN WHICH CASE THE MEETING AND THE LAR ORIENTATION WILL BE ON THE SECOND MONDAY. LEATH ACTION RANGE ORIENTATION IS ALSO HELD ON THIRD SATURDAYS AT 3:00 PM AFTER THE NSSF RIMFIRE CHALLENGE MATCH.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION--PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY!
This is for club members who wish to have Leath Action Range shooting privileges annotated on their membership cards.If this is your initial orientationyou must bring with you printed proof of competing in at least 6 matches after completing your new member orientation. You must also bring with you a printed recommendation from one of the LAR action sport discipline directors, whose matches you have participated in, attesting that you have been observed safely handling firearms in a dynamic environment.
If this is a renewal orientation you must bring proof of previous LAR privileges such as your current or previous year's club ID card with an LAR annotation.
You must notify the following officer by email, at least three days prior, that you are coming. DO NOT just show up!

Please familiarize yourself (i.e. read in its entirety) the appropriate club rule section for the Leath Action Range, which is currently section 2.8. Also review section 1.6.3 covering the use of steel targets on the ranges. Participants must pass a multiple choice test before being granted LAR privileges.
